David Hilliard: (born 1964 in Lowell, Massachusetts) is an American photographer. Hilliard is a fine arts photographer that mainly works with panoramic photographs. He draws inspiration from his personal life and those around him for his subject matter. Many of the scenes are staged, evoking a performative quality, a middle ground between fact and fiction.
He received his MFA from Yale University in 1994. He lives in Boston, Massachusetts and Maine.

David La Chapelle: (born March 11, 1963) is an American commercial photographer, fine-art photographer, music video director, and film director. He is best known for his photography, which often references art history and sometimes conveys social messages. His photographic style has been described as "hyper-real and slyly subversive" and as "kitsch pop surrealism". Once called the Fellini of photography, LaChapelle has worked for international publications and has had his work exhibited commercial galleries and institutions around the world.

Springveld is most famous for his commercial and personal work. He has been commissioned to photograph advertising campaigns for large international companies such as Levi's, Microsoft and Nokia. Some of his most famous photographic series include "Grief", "Rain", and "Royal Blood". Never one to shy away from controversy, Springveld's work is often daring and provocative. Humorously however, one of his early photographs was once expelled from a show on the basis of not containing nudity.
